Someguy: Lot of GPL track designers did that. On Snowitude, the winter version of Solitude (DEAR LORD someone please port this to RF), if you go off the track at a certain point, you'll find the Titanic. |

Oooo, I just love this track!
This is just an extraorinary track to go around in the Lamborgini Gallardo!
Beautifully modelled to fit into the landscape.
Lovely flow of the track and I am just glad I am not able to drive as this on my normal roads.
Definitely goes into my Hall Of Fame!
Good FPS also on a low-end machine with a normal graphics card.
Just maaybe some small details to improve.
- On some stretches you can bet stuck on the worng side of the barrier for a log strech, some openings on inside of corners would be good.
- In some areas, maybe some more 'markers' that will help you to remember corners, like the blue house or the white water tower.

It seems to be mod dependent.

Is anyone else getting a flickering car sitting on the start line when online? |

Who put Gollum down in the river? I slipped off the track and noticed someting odd down there, so I moved closer and took a screenshot. An Easter egg, I suppose? |

I just love this track, a lot of fun to drive, there's some really tricky sections that need a lot of effort, but well worth it.
Many thanks to the creators, I see hours of fun ahead on this track. |

Raisinberry777...Are you the Orbiter or GP500 Raisinberry777? I can,t remember which.
Anyway, as I said earlier, brilliant track in many ways. |

If you think the horizon graphic is "horrific" as you say, then make a new one.
And why are you named after a drug? I have a bottle of you in my medicine cabinet. |

The horizon graphic is horrific, but apart from that, nice track.
Part of the reason Nordschliefe works so well is the feeling of immersion gained from the depth of view. Everything is scaled and presented according to what one would expect.
Apart from that, it is pretty cool, and very European. Great work. |

Great fun to throw around here. Tracks do appear the same. Cobblestones seem a bit grippy. Really enjoy this one. Thx |

This track is awesome. I loved it for GPL and it's great to have it finally for rFactor. It's perfect for classic cars :)
BTW, is it me or there's no different between the two versions included? Tarmac's seems to be the same that the default one.
Anyway, thanks for the conversion!! :) |

I remember the track from GPL and was under the impression that the road texture was different and maybe nicer. It looked dirty like mud had piled up in the racing line or something like that.
Overall good effort with objects and textures, although some have altered colors that do not retain the atmosphere of the original. Also the horizon is pretty horrible but I think you know that allready ;-) I think one can improve these tracks very much and even remove the treewalls and write good trees instead without worrying too much about spoling them, as long as you keep the same colors in textures and use this yellowish light in advanced shaders, the atmosphere stays similar to the old one.
The track is a tremendous blast of course, so thanx for the conversion. |
