Open the SCN file for the layout your using.

Find the line:

Instance=startlightb01

Replace it with:

Instance=startlight

Will not cause mismatches.

Make sure you backup the files before you make any changes.

Does anybody know how to fix the bug with the lights?

There is no horn as the reds flash and no green lights once all reds have flashed.

Great track.

I just want to say that i´ve been waiting for this track for ages, it was one of my favorite tracks at ICR2 for win95.
Now i´ve downloaded and tested it... it´s one of the best tracks ever made for rfactor. Great job!! :-)

I also forgot to mention that, from turn 5 to turn 6, there's about a 10 to 15 foot elevation increase. thanks. Otherwise- very fine job!!

Like the referees say, "After careful review of all the cars, I say that the car in the picture is the F430_LM without the wing. I say this because of the difference in the heaadlight configuration from the F430.

Also, guys- I have pictures and video (a bit rough since I only had a 3.0 megapixel camera) of Vanport (Portland International Raceway) Festival Curves. There is no more inner kurbing due to the drifting competions and races they have had there for the last (at least) 2 years. I went there, last year, for the Champcar World Series race- got my picture with the better (looks and personality) woman driver- Katherine Legge!

Here's the link to the page: http://sports.webshots.com/album/559724941qFVrbz

Feel fre to use them if you need to! Also- some of the pictures have Champcars, and others, in the turn to get a better perpective on the actual width.

Not at this time no. I'm not happy with the quality of this track right now to have it converted to any other format.

Any chance of this wonderful track being converted to GTR2? The current Vanport is really bad.

I hadn't driven Portland since ICR2, where for some reason I never really got into it, focusing more on the street circuits like Vancouver and Toronto.

This mod is pretty much perfect, from the excellent craftsmanship, to just how wonderful it flows through the esses. I can't wait to try it out in a variety of different cars.

Thanks guys.

Ditto The Lonely there, everyone should try and run AA. My computer is powerful enough to run it full, all the time, but when i turned it off, it made everthing seem like it was moving, or 'buzzing', because of the edges constantly moving pixels. It makes a world of difference to add AA, and it makes the image overall sooooo much smoother, and easier on the eye.

Also, congrats on the HOF. :D

Recently my ATI x1950 pro died and I had to get it replaced. I bought an Nvidia 9600GT. When I loaded up rfactor I found loads of aliasing to my horror. It appears that the only way to stop this is to use a feature called negative bias clamp. This basically makes textures use their mipmaps (lower resolution much quicker). Unfortunately this appears to have had a bad effect on most of my tracks. Making the trees and many objects look rather poor. I found out that I needed to sharpen these textures in the lower mipmaps to help prevent this problem.

Those who dont use AA may find these textures look worse. If that is the case I seriously recommend you find a way to run at least x2 AA, as this will make your game look so much better.

These updates generally include tree, grass and advertisement updates for the various tracks.

Included in this pack are texture updates for the following tracks. All of these are available from my website: www.tltracks.com and also from www.rFactorcentral.com

Tracks Included:
Vanport (Portland International Raceway)
Putnam Park
Sebring 12h
Sugo 2006 (v3)
Donington
Wanneroo

Thanks Alex.

Pete: If you could add these links to the Putnam and Vanport profiles that'd be great, as I dont have access to these. I've added the links to all the other profiles.
