I've been fighting the urge to download the beta, trying to wait for the final version. I think I'm going to go ahead and give in.
I always look for your tracks ddawg. I like the fast sweeping turns (with a punisher here and there to keep you honest), elevation changes and outdoorsy/nature feel many of them have.
I can take any car out (even the weird ones) and just cruise your tracks and relax.
So yeah, remember there's a base of folks out here that really appreciate your work. I'm one of em. :)

The more time I spend with this, the more impressed I am. I'm personally stuck on the 911 RS 2.8.
On tracks like Le Mans the Ferrari, Shelby, Cobra, GT40 and 69 Corvette run away from me. On most other tracks I can catch up in the turns quite a bit. It seems like a significant amount of time was spent balancing the cars although they each feel very different with different strengths and weaknesses. The variations between them are what I love about multi-class multi-car racing and this mod does a great job realizing that.
Anyway, I can see myself spending a couple of years just working through the various cars in this mod alone...if I can ever give up my 911. Excellent work and I thank you guys for it.

I love the execution and layout of this track but I'm having stuttering problems with the visuals. It's most severe at the pits & it doesn't matter what cars I use. I don't experience these issues with any other track (so far).
I'm running an 8800GT card with a system supplying plenty of juice to it, newer board, etc. I've tried adjusting (toning down) display options but it doesn't help. Any suggestions beyond deleting and trying to re-install?
Am I the only one?

I'm using the retail DVD version and it's working fine. In fact, this thing is alot of fun. I love the nice clear gages.
Wish I could copy the monster tach w/shift light into every car I've got.
Job well done for the modders who made this.

I don't know if it's been mentioned (and many Vista users are probably accustomed to this) but the shortcut installed for my stand-alone install doesn't work even though it is mapped correctly by the installer. Even the installed tab/icon? under the start menu does not run the mod.
I have to go into the actual folder, right click the rfactor.exe and "run as administrator" to get things started. More of a Vista issue than a mod issue.
Hope that helps someone.
