First of all, I have to say this is much closer to Bathurst than any other version. You have done a great job with turn 2 and turn 4 at the cutting, they are much more accurate now, however, the dipper is miles away from what it is really like, there is no sudden drop at all now! Turn 10 at Mcphillamy is slightly out, it was closer to the real thing in the 2005 version, But except for the dipper this is a damn good job. One issue I have noticed is when running TCL Group A cars a lot of the AI roll over if they get a wheel up on a curb, especially turn 1 hell corner, turn 23 murrays and turn 9 at sulman park, and you have to be very careful in a Sierra or over she goes

Hi all. We have released a new version of bathurst (v1.5) which includes the 2010 signage and track changes along with many overall improvements. Due to rFactorCentral's modder admin being a bit broken I can't update this track profile at the moment. As soon as I can I will, but in the meantime please visit This official release thread at our RaceDepartment forums where you'll find more information plus download links.

Just want to say thanks for a great track.
I watched a few races here including as a kid on TV in the late 60s early 70s when Holden Monaros woud battle the Ford Falcon GTs.
Like the Melbourne Cup all Adult car owning males would order food and camp in front of the TV for the Big One the bathurst 500 (miles).
When kms came it went to 1000 of course.
Saw a few live races here incl the Sierra Cosworth/BMW E30 M3 era (when Sierras were DQ'd for a bodywork infringement.
Actually won a schoolboy footrace around this track so poss know it better than some!

OK whats my point?
Im in the UK now and I can get on this track and race my heroes (met Gentleman Jim Richards who is Yoda) been a passenger for hot laps with Dick Johnson and Gricey and of course a tear come sto my eye when Peter Brock takes the lead.
In a 24 hr format I can see the NSW night sky when I look left climbing the mountain.

So Thanks

I have no idea why I haven't had this track from day 1. I've hundreds of tracks and cars. This track just wrecks me. 10 laps and I can't lift my coffee cup w/ a steady hand. My arms are burning...and there is a HUGE smile on my face. This is pretty much as good as it gets. Thank you Team ORSM. What an amazing job...it really is a benchmark.

Hi
Is there any reason why I can only have intermediate tyres on this track? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks
