The original Brands Hatch was essentially the modern INDY/ Short layout, however the did not include Druids Bend,and Cooper straight gradually came away from the the pits moving towards where the original final turn was at Hailwood Hill. The circuit is 1.609km in length and unlike the modern layout, it ran Anti-Clockwise. This circuit also runs in the original direction.
