After 45 years over the past glories of the Circuito da Boavista, the passion for the engines, its smell and noise were back again in the year 2005, thanks to the will of a group of men who would move mountains on behalf of his passion for motor sports and who made this national and international project possible: The Oporto Historical Grand Prix 2005.
After the 3 first editions – 2005, 2007 and 2009, this event turned out to be a passion for all the motor sport lovers but also for those who did not want to miss the glamour and great atmosphere that could be lived in the city, as a reunion with its past. In 2005, this exhilarating event was described as the “BEST motor sport Event of 2005”.
