DirtWorkDesigns UMP Stocks 1.00

We at Dirt Works Designs are proud to bring to you a new dirt mod, our version of two of the most popular classes at most dirt tracks, the Street Stocks and the Super Street Stocks. These cars always draw a large car count and are a blast to drive and we feel that we came as close to realistic as you can get. Included in both are Camaros, Chevelles, Cougars, Cutlass and Monte Carlos ready to throw some dirt in your face.
This mod has been a long time in the making with great attention to detail put into it. We think you'll find the speeds are right on with real world tracks. The default set lets anyone jump in and get around the track so down load and start tossing some dirt around. These were tested using the DirtWorks Designs & Boz tracks & worked really well including the AI.

We have numerous setups for these cars scattered through our forum at USORS http://www.usorsracing.net/ You will find them under "Stocks" and "Race Results". We are an offline racing league and you are welcome to join in racing with us. ken

Gosh, I can't imagine what has gone wrong other than maybe some of the files have gotten in the wrong place. Why don't you post this problem over at the DWD forum and hopefully one of the DWD team will have a solution. Not sure about the download problem at DWD either that you are having. I just started downloading the stocks as a test and everything is working fine. Sorry that I cannot be more help. Wish I could sit down at your computer and straighten this out for you. ken

kslater... well I got the cars into the game. I had the rfactor client saving in the wrong location but now when I go to rce them it closes out of the game and says an unexpected error has occured. so I decided to try running the game as an administrator because the files on my harddrive still have little locks on them but they dont show up at all when I do that!!

kslater when I try to download them on that site all it does is think about it... the page gets the spinning loading symbol but never actually does any downloading. My computer is made for games and usually downloads super fast but with that one it just sits there.

I think I see what the problem is. The DWD Stocks version here on rfc is not the latest one and I am not sure if it has an installer. You don't need any special membership to download and install it anyhow. However, I recommend you go to the DWD site at http://www.dirtworksdesigns.com/ and download and install the latest version which is v2012. That does come with an installer so all you have to do is point the installer to where you have rfactor on your hard drive as I described above. Also it may help to run rfactor as an administrator. You do that by right clicking on the rfactor exe and selecting that. Hope this solves your problem. ken
