Hi rFactor lovers, V8Skinner here.
In 2010 I released a Fujitsu V8 2010 Skin pack for FVRFactor. It was my very first Skin Pack ever done, and for many reasons it was rubbish. The first one is that at that time there was no Skin Switcher for the cars, so you just painted one and that was it.
Because of that, the first version of the Skin Pack was a random mess of cars running in the first 3 rounds only. It just needed a restoration, and that's what I've done for you!
It runs with the FVR V8 2011 Mod installed AND the FVR Fujitsu 2011 Skin Pack Installed. It includes all the cars and all the liveries used in that series.
HOW TO INSTALL THE FUJITSU 2010 FVR V8 SKIN PACK mod:
1. Unrar the FUJITSU V8 SERIES 2010 folder in your
2. Unrar the rfm folder in your rFactor\rfm folder
3. Have a nice race.

Ferret40: Some skins.
V8Skinner: Idea, almost all liveries and windows
As said, this is a restored Skin Pack. The old Fujitsu V8 2010 skin pack used the 2009 FVR mod and the 2008 FVR mod physics, this one runs with the 2011 mod and the fujitsu 2011 mod.
But it's been a hard job, and overall the 2010 Fujitsu V8 is not faithfully represented as there have been some troubles coming along. Yes, the skins are easier to do than the ones I did for 2012 and 2013, because a lot of cars have just one colour, decorations, and just a handful of sponsors, but there were two big problems.
The first one is that the amount of photos available for the 2010 rounds in the web is far from being huge. I searched everywhere, but details like the rear of Pedersen's Falcon at
Winton or any photo of what livery was used for the #46 Commodore at Sydney were completely missing. They were probably never were posted on internet. Also, some informations were contradictory: According to Wikipedia, in Townsville Bates used Emery's car, and Emery used Jilesen's one, but other websites disprove this drivers' change and no photo exist of them, so I didn't do anything since I didn't know if the drivers' change was truthful.
I can only assume that probably the development series was not that cool before 2012.
The second problem was the fact that unlike the 2012 and 2013 season, the 2010 season was full of drivers who made just one or two races and very few drivers ran the whole season.
So I had to manage this situation, or we would have ended up with 42 drivers or thereabout. To make some examples, the #77 Owen Kelly's car ended up being a round skin for the #38 car since it ran just 1 round (didn't start in the other one), despite being brought by Kelly Racing. Also, I made the #54 Reynolds car running for the whole series. Yes, he just raced
for 1 round, but later that car was driven by Percat, and Percat left his car to Salmon and to Price. These are just 2 examples of how I managed to sort all of this mess without any of what I call "Optional Upgrades".
Last thing to say: cars like the #41 Oaklands one had to race in Sydney, but it never raced. So it was ignored even if there are photos in internet showing its existence. If it didn't race, it's not interesting. It could best be used to fill some drivers' change, but it was all sorted, so thank you but we won't add it.
