Here's a weird one!

What's up with the pacecar? I'm racing in a league and we've been having trouble with the pacecar on this track across different car mods (nagt and historics). It can be seen flipping end for end in the grass or half sunk somewhere. Tonight it was on the grid at the start of the race (a standing start) and others reported being hit by it in a practice.

I'd guess this is a bug of some sort, eh? It's all fine and dandy till it causes someone to loose a race...then it's just a pain the the derier!

I fixed the errors I just posted about...

I replaced the commonmaps and terrain files at the top level of the Locations folder (saved the origs first) and that seemed to do the trick (well, I got to the garage...haven't gone on the track just yet, but if I get that far I can't imagine there being a problem). Haven't opened all the other tracks I have to see what it might have broken...I'll just save the orig files for that possibility. I'm running vid settings at 7 at this time.

I'm having the same trouble as another poster on here:

gmotor error loading texture Road1_s for material HILLE
gmotor error loading global material HILLE
I get one more global material HILLE error then rFactor quits

Weird thing is...there doesn't seem to be any such file to 'load' in the ROTS hierarchy of folders.

I've downloaded the track from several different hosts, but they all have the same error.

I'm running DX8

Any ideas?
