Amanda Anisimova just took down Jelena Ostapenko in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3, to win the Qatar Open! This is her first WTA 1000 title, and she played some seriously sharp tennis to get it done. Her backhand was on fire, and she handled Ostapenko’s power like a pro. Big win for her, and it pushes her into the top 20 rankings. Feels like she’s just getting started!
