Are live dealer games getting too scripted?

I love playing live dealer games, especially blackjack and roulette. It makes gambling way more immersive than just clicking buttons on a regular RNG game. But lately, I’ve been getting the feeling that some live casino games are way too scripted.

A few nights ago, I was playing live blackjack, and the dealer had one of those insane runs where they pulled a 21 five hands in a row. Every time I had 20, they hit 21. They magically got blackjack every time I doubled down.

I know variance is a thing, but this felt like something straight out of a casino conspiracy theory. Then I started reading about auto-shuffling machines and dealer scripts—some casinos might actually tweak how cards are dealt to “keep the game exciting” (aka make players lose more).

I’m not saying live dealer games are rigged, but something feels off sometimes. Anyone else get this feeling when playing live games, or am I just being paranoid after a rough night?
