A good (or bad) goalie can make or break a bet, especially for totals and puck line bets. Lately, I’ve been keeping an eye on teams with hot netminders, and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Here’s what I’ve been watching:
Jesper Wallstedt – Iowa Wild’s young goalie has been improving. Not the prettiest numbers, but he’s making big saves when needed. Could be a future solid NHL betting factor.
Juuse Saros – The guy steals games for the Preds. If he’s in net, I always reconsider betting against Nashville.
Jordan Binnington – Up and down all season. If he’s in one of his cold streaks, I look at over bets against the Blues.
