Totally get where you’re coming from. Jackpot City’s bonuses can be tough to clear, but if you skip the bonus and play straight up, the blackjack games themselves are pretty rewarding. Sometimes less ‘bonus’ is actually more.
 
I’m just getting into online blackjack, so does anyone have any good tips? I’ve got the basic strategy chart down, but I feel like I’m still losing more than I should. Do you stick to specific variants, or does it depend on the casino? Also, is it worth playing the side bets, I’ve been hearing different opinions.

stick to high rtp games like atlantic city blackjack and avoid side bets, they’re your biggest enemy. also, look for tables with a 3:2 payout, those 6:5 tables are a no-go.
 
PlayOJO’s no-wagering bonuses are great, but they’ve made me so confident I forget I’m not actually good at blackjack. My last session ended with me doubling down on a 12…spoiler: it didn’t go well.

in control? yeah, right. every blackjack site is rigged to make you think you’ve got a shot, and then boom, the dealer pulls a 21 out of nowhere. honestly, it’s best you keep your money in the bank.
