I’ve been diving into football history lately and wanted to hear some thoughts—who do you think belongs in the top 10 best college football teams of all time? There have been some dominant dynasties over the years, but narrowing them down isn’t easy.
Obviously, Alabama is always in the conversation, considering they’ve got one of the most NCAA football championships, but what about old-school teams? Notre Dame, Michigan, and USC have all had legendary runs. And if we’re talking about dominance, Miami’s early 2000s squad might be one of the best ever.
Also, does anyone know who has the most national championships in college football when counting the pre-Playoff era? I know the rankings vary depending on how you count them, and ESPN and other sources use different criteria. The debate gets even trickier when factoring in early teams from the first college football game era.
If you had to build the ultimate ranking based on win percentage, impact, and championships, which teams make the cut? Let’s hear your playoff-era and all-time greats!
