Bitcoin deposits and poker in the USA

Alright, so I’ve noticed that a few poker sites like Americas Cardroom and Black Chip Poker are now all-in on Bitcoin deposits. Sounds convenient, right? But is it really? I mean, BTC isn’t exactly known for being stable—it’s more like a rollercoaster that doesn’t bother with seat belts. Remember when it hit ~$1k last year and then plummeted? Yeah, fun times for the brave.

What I’m curious about is if anyone here has gone the BTC route for deposits and actually cashed out after. Do they force you to withdraw in Bitcoin, or are there other options? The thought of cashing out into BTC right before it nosedives is... let’s just say, not my idea of a happy ending.

If you’ve got any stories—wins, losses, or just plain chaos—drop them here. I’d love to hear how this crypto gamble plays out in the real world.

I’m not a fan of BTC for poker. It’s like betting on two tables at once—one for your cards and another for the market. Unless you love high stakes, I’d steer clear
