Apologies if this has come up before; I couldn’t quite find the exact thread to answer my curiosity.
I stumbled upon a live dealer blackjack game online that caught my eye. It’s a single-seat setup where everyone else plays behind one player. (Hope that makes sense!) The game runs with a 6-deck shoe, and I’d guess about 75% of the cards get dealt before a reshuffle.
So here’s the question: would this setup work for card counting? Or is card counting pretty much a pipe dream when it comes to live online casinos? The single-seat thing seemed interesting since it might eliminate the chaos of full tables and multiple spots being played. Maybe it simplifies the counting a bit?
I know most people say card counting doesn’t work online, but something about this format seems worth exploring. Thoughts? Anyone tried it before? Appreciate any insight—trying to figure out if this is worth some effort or if I’m just overthinking.
