Here’s a question that’s been bugging me: is card counting even possible in online blackjack?
In physical casinos, card counting works because you’re dealing with a finite deck, but online blackjack uses RNG (Random Number Generator) systems most of the time, which reshuffle the "deck" after every hand. This makes tracking cards seem pointless. Even with live dealer games, I’m guessing the frequent shoe changes kill any real chance of counting effectively.
That said, there are whispers about players using strategies like “shuffle tracking” or exploiting poor live dealer practices. Anyone tried it or know if it’s realistic? Or should we just accept that online blackjack is a different beast and focus on other strategies?
Would love to hear your experiences or theories!
