So I just went down a YouTube rabbit hole on Class 2 bingo-based slots. Yeah, I know, living the dream. 
I get that these machines are networked and running on a shared bingo system to meet legal rules, but what I don’t get is why some folks swear you’re competing with other players for wins.
Like… if my machine hits a bingo pattern, doesn’t it just check the paytable and spit out whatever I won? It’s not like if someone on the next machine hits the same pattern, we have to split the prize, right? That’s bingo hall logic, not slot logic.
Am I missing something here, or are people just mixing this up with how actual bingo games work? ‘Cause last I checked, my slot machine wasn’t yelling "BINGO!" at me and making me share my win.
