Man, I gotta say—crypto has totally changed the way I bet while traveling. Used to be a hassle dealing with cards getting flagged or some site saying “sorry, not available in your region.” Now I’m tossing down bets from beach bars in Costa Rica or rooftop hostels in Lisbon with no stress.
Lately, I’ve been rollin’ mostly with Litecoin. It’s fast, cheap on fees, and doesn’t get stuck in limbo like some of the others. I tried using ETH a few times, but those gas fees? Nah, dude, not worth it when I’m just dropping a casual bet on a surf competition or a late-night NBA game.
Dogecoin’s fun for the vibe, and a couple books actually take it now. BTC’s cool too, but a bit slow for live bets unless I’m planning ahead.
