Do you think betting limits should be optional based on play history?

Been thinking about this after a mate of mine hit a rough patch with his bets—nothing crazy, but it made me wonder. Should players who've shown they gamble responsibly be allowed to set their own limits—or even opt out of them—based on their play history?

I’ve had months where I just pop in for a quick spin after a long hike, and others where I’m watching every rugby game and throwing in bets left and right. Having the same fixed limits during both feels a bit rigid. Not saying we ditch limits altogether, but maybe there’s room for a more flexible system?

What do you lot reckon? Ever felt boxed in by limits that didn’t fit how you actually play?
