I’ve been betting on esports for years, and it’s wild to see how fast the industry has grown. But recently, I’ve started wondering—are esports odds actually fair?
Take League of Legends betting, for example. I was watching a LCS match, and the odds suddenly shifted minutes before the game—without any major roster changes. Same thing happened with a CS:GO match where the underdog’s odds dropped heavily just before the first map.
It makes me wonder:
Are insiders getting early info and moving the odds?
Are bookmakers setting esports odds without enough real data?
Should we have better transparency in esports betting odds?
Has anyone else noticed suspicious odds movements before big esports matches? Or am I just overthinking it?
