Horse racing tips for a better betting?

I’ve found studying the form guide and checking the track conditions makes a huge difference. Look at each horse’s recent races, especially on similar tracks and distances. Weather matters too, some horses perform better on soft ground than on hard!
Anyone got other tips or methods they swear by? Maybe something for betting on underdogs?

I’m just a newbie eh, need some suggestions!
