Been following Albany basketball lately, and the Albany Great Danes men's basketball team has been an interesting one to track this season. They’ve had their ups and downs, sitting at 12-14 overall and 9-17 ATS, but they’re still a competitive squad when they show up. They’re facing UMBC in what should be a close one, with the spread sitting around -1.5 Albany and the over/under at 155.5.
Looking at their roster, Amar'e Marshall and Byron Joshua are putting up solid numbers, both averaging over 14 points per game. Justin Neely is holding it down on the boards, and they’ve got decent depth across the lineup. It’s been a rough go against the spread, though—9-17 ATS is nothing to brag about, and they haven’t been great as favorites.
The Albany Great Danes men's basketball team has history in the Albany, NY basketball scene, but when you talk about Albany hoops, you can't forget about the Patroons. They’ve been around for a while, with a deep Patroons history, and still hold their own in the basketball culture of the area.
Now, betting-wise, I’m trying to figure out the best books for wagering on these mid-major matchups. What are the best betting sites for these kinds of games? Are there bonuses worth grabbing? Also, anyone following the ASU basketball schedule and know if there are any overlapping plays worth parlaying?
Would love to hear what books you guys are using for NCAA betting, especially for teams like Albany that don’t always get the best odds posted. Let me know where you’re placing your bets!
