Alright, I’m curious—how did y’all get into gambling? Was it a casino trip? A friend dragging you into a bet? Or did you just wake up one day and decide, “Yep, I wanna throw some money at chance today”? 
For me, it all started back in the early Facebook days when they had that Texas Hold’em Poker game. Y’all remember that? Zynga Poker was the thing back then. I wasn’t even into poker before that, but my co-workers at the time were playing during lunch breaks, and they got me hooked. It was free chips, so no real money, but I swear the way I was sweating over those fake hands, you’d think I had my rent money on the line.
I got pretty decent, too! Started reading up on hands, bluffing, pot odds—not like a pro or anything, but enough to hold my own. Then, one day, I wandered into a local casino and thought, “Why not try the real thing?” Sat down at a low-stakes table, hands shaking like I was defusing a bomb.
Lost my first buy-in, but man, the thrill of it had me hooked.
These days, I stick to online poker mostly, but every now and then, I’ll hit a casino just for fun. So, tell me—what was your first taste of gambling like? Anyone else start off on a goofy little Facebook game, or was it something totally different?
