Is AI ruining sports betting?

I love data-driven betting—I’m a numbers guy. But lately, it feels like AI and algorithmic models are too good. Bookmakers are using machine learning to adjust odds instantly, and even casual bettors have AI tools predicting game outcomes. The edge that used to come from deep analysis? It’s shrinking fast.

I used to crunch NBA stats manually, watching trends and player fatigue levels to find value bets. Now? AI models do it in seconds—and the lines adjust before you can place a bet. Is this where we’re headed? A world where only AI-driven bettors stand a chance?

Curious if anyone still bets "old school" with gut instincts, or if we're all just playing against supercomputers now.
