So, I saw this post on this other gambling forum and now I’m sitting here like… damn, is being a poker pro really that rough? This guy basically said it’s all about grinding your ass off for like $20 to $30/hour, 12-hour days, 330 days a year while sitting around some of the worst people you’ll ever meet… just to hit a good enough yearly income.
I always thought the pro life had a bit more glam to it, but now I’m wondering if I’ve been watching too many highlight reels. Anyone here actually doing it full-time? Is it really just a never-ending grindfest or is this dude just salty after a bad beat? Would love to hear some real talk on this.
