I wanted to share some thoughts about table manners at casinos—something I’ve seen go wrong a few times, and it’s worth chatting about.
First off, can we all agree that basic politeness goes a long way? Things like saying “good game” after a tough hand or not slow-rolling your opponent. I’ve seen some players take forever to muck a losing hand, and it just feels a bit unnecessary.
Another thing: tipping the dealer! I know not everyone does it, but I think it’s a nice way to show appreciation, especially if they’ve been dealing with rowdy players all night.
Also, one small pet peeve—players giving unsolicited advice during a game. It’s one thing to share tips after the session, but during a hand? Big no-no. Let people play their game!
What are your table dos and donts? I’d love to hear what others think about this.
