Ruben Amorim's Tactics: Could This Style Finally Bring Glory Back to Man Utd

I gotta say, I’m actually hyped for this potential shake-up under Ruben Amorim! The guy’s known for his back-three setups and aggressive pressing game, which could finally give United a clear identity on the field. After watching Ten Hag struggle to get anything consistent going, it’s refreshing to think about a coach who’s got such a set style. 🤞

Amorim's approach, from what I’ve read, is all about controlling the game with a solid back three and wing-backs pushing up high to provide width. I love that he’s got a big focus on possession and pressing — Man Utd’s been needing some bite in their game for a while now. Plus, having someone like Martinez in the back could be perfect for the passing plays Amorim wants.

Carra and Berbatov talking about Garnacho at wing-back was interesting, but honestly? I’m not sure that’ll hold up against tougher teams. Garnacho’s quick, but putting him against players like Saka could leave us too exposed at the back. But hey, if Amorim’s tactics can get Hojlund more involved like Gyokeres at Sporting, we could finally see some killer forward play.

Any other Red Devils excited for this tactical revamp?
