Squeezing cards feels unnecessary stress, anyone else?

The whole concept of squeezing cards in Baccarat has always struck me as, well, more theatrical than practical. Why add an extra layer of tension to a game that’s already built on razor-thin odds? I’ve observed plenty of players take ages to reveal the cards, almost like they’re channeling Schrödinger’s cat, believing their ‘observation’ will determine the outcome. It doesn’t, of course—it’s just math and probability.

Interestingly, I’ve noticed in high-limit Baccarat rooms, some players outright delegate the task to the dealer. I sympathize; the pressure to maintain composure while everyone’s watching can be overwhelming, even if the squeeze itself is just fluff. Personally, if I’m the sole bettor on a hand, I’ll often ask the dealer to flip both Player and Banker cards straight away. No drama, no delays—just the cold, hard results. Efficiency is its own reward, wouldn’t you agree?
