I had one of those “this is my lucky night” moments last weekend. Was playing Lightning Roulette, casually throwing down small bets, when suddenly—boom—hit a 500x multiplier on a straight-up number. My $10 bet turned into $5,000 just like that. I sat there in shock, thinking, "This is it, I’ve cracked the code."
But, as you can probably guess, my brain went into full "let’s ride this wave" mode. Decided to test my luck on high-stakes pokies, and yeah... the casino won that battle. Within two hours, my big win was down to just a couple hundred bucks. Lesson learned? Know when to cash out. Still stings a little, but hey, at least I got to feel like a high roller for a night.
