Been daydreaming a bit lately—what would you do if you won a $1 million jackpot? Honestly, I think the first thing I’d do is just sit down, take a deep breath, and let it sink in. Then, it’d be time to start planning!
For me, the very first thing would be paying off all our debts—no more mortgage, no credit cards, no car loans. That would feel like such a huge weight lifted. After that, I’d probably take my husband on the trip of a lifetime. Somewhere we’ve always talked about, like Italy or Greece. We’ve never really done anything extravagant, so this would be our chance.
I’d also make sure to set aside some money for savings, especially for our retirement. And maybe even help out a few family members who could use a little boost.
But not gonna lie, I’d definitely save a little slice of that million for some fun. Maybe a new car or a total backyard makeover—something we could enjoy every day.
