First off, I made a few bets on top bowlers since the saliva ban lift means more swing and reverse swing. That’s gonna be a killer advantage for guys like Mohammed Shami. His odds were +700 to be the Top Wicket-Taker for the season. Threw down $100 on that, which would mean a $700 payout if he ends up on top.
Now, the fresh ball rule? That’s pure chaos for late-game batting! So, I figured it was smart to bet on a few first innings high-scoring games since bowlers will likely struggle more without that fresh ball to start with. Got over 180.5 runs for Mumbai Indians’ first innings at +250. Dropped $200 on that for a potential $500 payout.
Also went for a long shot bet on CSK winning their opening night game since MI usually chokes on those. Odds were +300, so I threw in $150 for a potential $450 payout.
