Lately, I’ve been following the rise of women’s sports in Australia, from the Matildas’ stunning performances in soccer to incredible players in cricket, rugby, and basketball. Yet, when I hop on most Aussie sportsbooks, the markets for women’s sports are still so limited compared to the men’s.
Why is that? Is it because the audience isn’t big enough, or are platforms just not adapting quickly enough to the changing trends? It’s frustrating because betting on women’s games can be just as exciting, especially when the teams are giving their all in such high-energy matches.
Are there any sportsbooks here that actually offer decent options for women’s sports betting? Maybe niche platforms or smaller operators doing something unique? It’d be great to see more support for these athletes, both on the field and from the gambling industry. Keen to hear what you all think!
