The Yankees are in a tough spot heading into March. Gerrit Cole is out for the season after Tommy John surgery, which is a massive blow to the rotation. Losing Juan Soto to the Mets doesn’t help either. But despite all that, they’re still sitting at +165 to win the AL East. Their World Series odds have dropped to +900, though, so the books aren’t as confident. If you’re betting, watch for bounce-back performances from Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton, both need to step up. Might be worth looking at game-to-game bets instead of long-term futures right now.
