SEC tournament bracket

The SEC Tournament is here, and everyone’s asking the same question: Can Auburn run the table in Nashville? Looking at the SEC tournament bracket, it’s clear the Tigers have the easiest path to the championship, but their recent play tells a different story.

Auburn’s Struggles: Signs of Trouble?
Auburn has been dominant all season, earning the No. 1 seed with a 15-3 conference record. They’ve got 16 Quad 1 wins, the most in the nation, and are in the driver’s seat for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. Sounds great, right? Well, not so fast.

Their last two games have been rough. They lost to Texas A&M by 11 points, then let Alabama steal a win on a last-second buzzer-beater in overtime. Add in a wild, undisciplined postgame scene with fans throwing objects on the court, and suddenly, Auburn’s looking vulnerable at the worst possible time.

Who Can Challenge Auburn?

The SEC is stacked this year, with a record-setting 12 teams projected to make the NCAA tournament. If Auburn doesn’t get its act together, several teams are ready to take them down:
  • Florida (2 seed): Won 9 of their last 10 games, including a dominant win over Auburn. They're red-hot and peaking at the right time .
  • Alabama (3 seed): Just knocked off Auburn in overtime, proving they can beat them when it matters.
  • Tennessee (4 seed): Quietly one of the best teams in the SEC, they destroyed Florida by 20 points earlier this season .

Can Auburn Still Run the Table?

Auburn’s best player, Johni Broome, is still a National Player of the Year candidate, but he needs help. If Auburn can regain their defensive intensity and stay disciplined, they have a shot to win it all. But if their mental lapses continue, Florida or Alabama could easily steal the title.

Bottom line? Auburn is still the team to beat, but they need to shake off these recent struggles fast. What do you guys think—can Auburn dominate, or are we about to see a massive collapse? Let’s hear your predictions!
