Editorial standards at rFactorCentral
This page explains how we research, test and publish gambling content. We update these standards quarterly. Last reviewed: April 2026.
Testing methodology
For every operator we cover, our payout-testing process includes:

A real deposit from a US bank account using the platform's standard verification flow.

Active play on the platform with stakes appropriate to the test (typically 50 to 500 USD).

A withdrawal request through every published cashout method we can use legally from our test states.

A documented timestamp from cashout request to funds-cleared on the receiving account.

A second withdrawal cycle 30 to 90 days later to test whether payout reliability holds over time.
Reviews are not published until at least one full deposit-to-withdrawal cycle clears. If we cannot complete the cycle, we publish that fact, not a review.
Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound operator links pay rFactorCentral a commission on referred deposits. We disclose this at the bottom of every post that contains affiliate links and we include the disclosure in our automated link nofollow ugc handling.
We hold affiliate relationships only with operators that meet our editorial bar. We have walked away from affiliate offers from brands that did not pass our payout-reliability testing. We have published unfavorable findings about brands we currently have affiliate agreements with, including specific complaint patterns we have seen on those brands.
The order of brands in any roundup post is determined by editorial assessment, not by affiliate payout. Higher-paying affiliate offers do not get a higher slot.
State-by-state legality
Gambling regulation in the US is updated state by state on a near-monthly cadence. We track changes through state gaming commissions, court filings, and operator product announcements. State-availability claims in any post represent the situation at publication date and we add a "verify before you deposit" line on legal-status posts because the rules can change between writing and reading.
We do not publish workarounds for state restrictions. We do not document VPN-based access for blocked jurisdictions. If your state is restricted from a product, that information is published to help you find a legally available alternative, not to help you bypass the geofence.
Corrections policy
If we get a fact wrong, we correct it inline and add a Correction: line at the bottom of the affected post explaining what changed and when. We do not silently rewrite history. Correction lines stay in the post permanently.
If you spot an error, message any of the editorial accounts or use the contact form.
Responsible gambling
Every post that discusses real-money play closes with a responsible-gambling disclosure including 1-800-GAMBLER for US readers and equivalent national resources for non-US readers. See our Responsible Gambling page for the full list.
