Anyone else play with a strategy, but end up going rogue?

So, I always start with a strategy – like, I’ll tell myself I’m going to stick to my budget on slots games or follow the Martingale on roulette... but then, halfway through, I start improvising. It’s like I can’t help it, especially when I think I’m on a hot streak.Sometimes going rogue actually works in my favor, but I know long-term it’s not smart. Anyone else have the same problem sticking to a plan?
