Weekend off-topic - what are you doing with your two days

Gambling Tools Odds · Parlay · Bonus
Wanted a corner of the forum that has nothing to do with odds, slots, KYC or any of the usual. Use this one for whatever you've got on outside the gambling stuff this weekend. The book you're halfway through, the show you're behind on, the meal you're attempting, the walk you took, the run you skipped, the album stuck on repeat. Anything but operator talk.

The point of keeping it off-topic is that the regulars here spend plenty of time staring at lines and lobbies. Worth stepping away from that for one thread a week and remembering everyone has a life beyond their bet history.

A few prompts if you're stuck:

  • What you're watching this weekend. Three episodes deep into something, or still scrolling and refusing to commit.
  • The last thing you cooked that actually came out well. Or the one that didn't.
  • What's on the music rotation. One song, or the whole album that won't leave you alone.
  • Reading anything? Fiction, non-fiction, audiobooks, a magazine binge, all counts.
  • Plans for Saturday and Sunday. A proper trip, a small one, or the couch.

I'll start. Spent last weekend trying to get a decent curry base right, which turned into a far longer afternoon than planned and used every pan in the house. Worth it in the end. Reading-wise I'm slowly working through a backlog of crime novels, and I've been deliberately dodging spoilers on the series everyone keeps banging on about, so that's probably the weekend catch-up sorted.

This Saturday is a walk somewhere green if the weather holds, then nothing booked for Sunday, which feels rare lately.

Your turn, what's the move this weekend.

Quick reminder, 18+ only and this should stay fun. If it stops being fun, GamStop, GamCare and BeGambleAware are there.

Watched the series everyone's on about and I'll be the contrarian, first three episodes dragged badly, then it clicked around episode four and now I can't stop. Stick with it is my verdict. Aside from that, mostly a couch weekend planned and I'm fully at peace with that.
